About dbosoft

From an independent SAP consultancy to a software company — nearly two decades of building tools that work.

SAP consulting, grounded in engineering

dbosoft grew out of hands-on SAP project work. When the right tool didn't exist, we built it. That mindset — solve the real problem, ship something that lasts — still drives everything we do.

Today we combine SAP technology consulting with a growing portfolio of integration tools, migration utilities, and infrastructure software. All built from experience, all shaped by real customer landscapes.

Our journey

From freelance consulting to a focused SAP technology company.

2006

Founded as wagnersolutions e. K.

Frank Wagner started as an independent SAP technology consultant, helping customers with BASIS administration, system architecture, and custom development.

2017

Became Convista Software GmbH

The growing scope of projects — from consulting into product development — called for a new legal structure. The company was incorporated as Convista Software GmbH in Soltau.

2019

Renamed to dbosoft GmbH

A new name for a sharper focus: dbosoft — Design, Build, Operate. The rebrand reflected the shift towards building reusable tools alongside consulting.

2022

Moved to Bielefeld

The company relocated to Bielefeld, closer to the OWL tech ecosystem and a growing network of partners and customers in the region.

The team

Every project gets senior attention. Every architecture decision is made by people who've done it before. There are no layers between you and the person doing the work.

When you work with dbosoft, you work with the people who build the tools.
